No Regrets…

New Novel by Joan Chandler

No Regrets is the new mainstream novel by author, Joan Chandler.  It is due to be released on July 11th by Siren BookStrand Publishing, and I can hardly wait!  This story takes place primarily in Bremen, Germany, along with some other locations in America.  I am especially excited about this book because, as you may remember, Joan is my writing buddy.  Although I have read some of this book, it has been so long ago, and undergone so many revisions, that it will be a new story to even me.  She has made a great trailer of the book that will really bring the story to life as you read it.  Be sure to check it out at the address shown above.

I will soon be having Joan as my guest to tell us a little about this story, and the story behind the story!  I’ll keep you posted as to when to expect that chat!  Have a great week everyone, and try to live your life, so that you, too, will have No Regrets!

Would You Dare To Love a Beast?

by Teri Butterfly Harvey

Would you dare to love a scoundrel, rake, or outright beast?  That is the dilemma of the heroine of Teri Butterfly Harvey’s debut novel, To Love a Beast I think most of us that read romantic novels think that is the ONLY kind of man to fall in love with.  We all root for the “Bad Boy” of the story.  Something about that recklessness is incredibly alluring.  To be ravished by the worst rake of the ton would be a dream!

I first discovered this “page turner” when its author, Teri Butterfly Harvey, “Liked” a particular post on my blog.  I checked out her blog and realized she had just published her first novel, so I understood her feelings of anxiety now that it was out there for the world to see.  I have since been following her blog at www.bflyzone.wordpress.com and love it.  I checked out more information about her book, and after reading the sample excerpt, purchased it simply because I had to know the rest of the story.  I started reading the book yesterday, and have just finished a few minutes ago!  It was a great way to spend Mother’s Day.  I read To Love a Beast on my Nook, beside my son reading his book on his Nook.  It couldn’t have been any better!

Teri began her story with immediate action and romance, and kept the story moving straight to the end.  The characters had spirit and sass, and a sensuous side that could not be denied.  She wrote the love scenes with good taste, but without forfeiting the “hot’ factor.  She wrote clearly and descriptively, making me hear the intonation in the voices, and see the exact looks on the characters’ faces.  I couldn’t put this down until I finished it, and I was not disappointed.  I recommend this book to anyone that loves to read a good regency novel.  It is flirty, sassy, sensuous, and sexy from start to finish!  I loved it, and give it “2 Thumbs Up“!

Please go to this site to read an excerpt (the one that made me have to have a copy!), and purchase To Love a Beast by Teri Butterfly Harvey:

This cover is really cool, too.  It has a purple iris on the cover, which is my favorite flower!  It had to be good!

Today was the day!  My debut novel, One Sizzling Summer, was released for purchase at Siren Bookstrand Publishing ( you can go to the site above if you are interested in a love story that sizzles and has a happy ending!).  The day has been rainy and overcast, but it’s been sunny in my heart!  I am thrilled to have accomplished this goal I’ve had for a few years now.  I’ve loved learning about the publishing process, and what editors expect in a final submission.  I am working on the next book now, and hope to have it completed soon.  Thank you to friends, family, and readers for supporting my efforts.  You keep me going!

Whatever your goal/dream is in this life, you can make it happen. Keep pursuing it.  If you aren’t sure how to go about it , ask someone that has already achieved that goal.   Jillian  Chantal (Sebastian’s Salvation)  shared with me and Joan Chandler , and now we both have been published and have our own website.  There are wonderful people out there that will be happy to show you the ropes.  JUST DON’T GIVE UP!  Well, I must close to go iron uniforms for tomorrow.  I wonder if Nora Roberts has to do her own ironing? 😀  Have a great “rest of the week”!

Now Officially a Published Author!

It appeared on the publisher’s website this evening.  Sandwiched between  two paranormal romance stories(and at the bottom of a list of some WILD stories!) was my book, One Sizzling Summer!  Ava and Quinton will finally be able to share their love story with the masses (Ha!).  If you want a quick, “feel good” fantasy to read on your Kindle, Nook, or PC  while stuck in traffic, a waiting room, carpool line, checkout line, etc. this is for you!  You can Pre-Order now at http://www.bookstrand.com/one-sizzling-summer.  It will be available to download as an ebook on Wednesday, February 29th. I hope you will enjoy meeting these characters as much as I enjoyed writing their story!:)

CAUTION:  If reading this while in a doctor’s waiting room, please be advised an unusually high blood pressure reading and/or increased pulse rate may result after reading the love scenes between these two!  🙂
